29th April 2004 Kite buggying - boarding: Ynyslas Estuary Wind Direction: N-NW Wind Stength: 15-20kts Surf / Sea State: na Air Temperature: 13 Sea Temperature: na Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: got some decent air but struggled to stay upwind... the sand was really soft and the board kept sliding downwind the more i leaned back to turn into wind... after a mini-walk-of-shame i gave the board a rest and did a few jumps. by now the wind had changed and i would have been better on the sea front, so i packed up and had a drive down to the golf course, but there was no beach to play on now, had the wind been more westerly i should've been ok :( not a bad session on the hole though. |
